At my very first interview the school council asked me...

"What would your super hero power be?"

...and I responded...

"I want to be able to fly, you could go anywhere, you wouldn't ever need to worry about falling, the sky would no longer be the limit!"

However, it seems that time my wings weren't ready and I didn't get the position. I needed to shake the dust from my fluff... and once again am standing at the ledge preparing to take flight. As an almost newly qualified teacher and a Bachelor of Education

In my classes I wish to provide a safe, rich, active and stimulating learning space where pupils can become immersed in what they are learning and in which ample opportunities to apply that which has been learned are presented. I believe strongly in providing support and encouragement to all who I work with. I also appreciate that learning never stops and that every experience leads to developmental rewards.

I have active interests in art, crafts, film, music, digital technologies, programming, networking, nature, psychology, sociology, dance, food, politics and the sciences.

People, in their individuality and their personal perspectives, fascinate me! Through my own senses I can only experience so much, but through the sharing of experiences we are able to enhance our own understanding of the world as well as its inhabitants!

I have a generally upbeat attitude to life and try to enjoy everything that it throws my way!. life is too short to allow oneself to get caught up in negativity!
